Rotary Club of Ikeja Excites RYLArians at Sea School

Members of Rotary club of Ikeja, Rotary International, District 9111 stormed the Sea School on Monday to fellowship with the participants of Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, RYLA 2024.

Led by their Irresistible President, Rotarian Kayode Situ, the members included Past Assistant Governor, Tunji Ola, Assistant Governor Tosin Kadiri, Immediate Past President Emeka Ibe , Vice President, Lanre Lawal as well as members of the 2024/2025 Board and parents of some of the RYLArians sponsored by the club.

While welcoming the club to the school, the chairman of District 9111 RYLA 2024 , Assistant Governor Azuh Arinze commended the club for always standing out and supporting RYLA.

Speaking at the event, the club’s President, Rotarian Situ advised the participants to take advantage of the opportunities at the school and learnt as much as they could from the different facilitators who would mentor them in the school.

Some of the activities on the day included a lecture which was facilitated by a member of the club, Rotarian Titi Akintan-Bankole as well as dance competition.

The event was also graced by some members of the District 9111 RYLA 2024 namely, Past President, Ronke Jones-Adewale, Rotarian Rose Makinwa, Rotarian Odebunmi Dominga, Past President Funmilayo Oseni as well as the District 9111 RYLA 2024 Secretary, Past President, Fatimah Hassan.
