Nigeria stand-up comedian, Bovi Ugboma, popularly called Bovi, has called on West Ham to stop Manchester City from crashing the efforts of Arsenal in the 2023/2024 English Premier League season.
The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (online only), Bovi, an Arsenal fan, hoped that West Ham would get a draw with Man City or win for his team to end their EPL trophy drought.
While Machester City hope to win their fourth back-to-back title, with a win over West Ham, in a decider match on Sunday, Bovi and other Arsenal fans hope for a draw or win in favour of West Ham and a win for Arsenal against Everton.
The Delta State University alumni wrote on his social handle, “Dear West Ham, where do I start? I’m no coach but please can I beg you guys to please park the bus. On Sunday, this I pray.”
If Guardiola boys secure a win against West Ham on Sunday, with current standing of 88 points in 37 matches, they will claim the EPL title for the fourth time, breaking a record in the English top league.

Mikel Arteta Arsenal, with 86 points, two points below Man City, hope secure a win against Everton. If Man City draws, it secures one point, bringing to total score to 89, and Arsenal secures win against Everton, Guardiola’s hope of the season’s title dashes.
Arsenal needs a win against Everton and Man City to lose against West Ham to break its DPL trophy draught. If Arsenal wins and Man City draws, goal difference decides the fate of the two teams. On Sunday, May 19, at 4:00 pm (West Africa time ) Man City will be playing West Ham, while Arsenal will be playing Everton.
