“The goal is to train them on core UI/UX and Programming skills within a year. The talents will sign an agreement not to leave Enugu state within the next 3 years after the 1 year training. We will get top tech jobs for them that will require them to remain in Enugu.

“We want to stop talent migration and rather attract the companies to Enugu. They will also make policies to favour tech companies.”

He further added, “The next cohort after this will be for 1000 persons and they must stay in Enugu within 3 years also.

“The funds for the program are 100% available and we will start sorting things out from tomorrow.

“They will also acquire 100 high performance systems that I will recommend specifically for this program, and all the infrastructure including multiple Starlink devices which are on ground.
