X (formerly Twitter) owner, Elon Musk has disclosed that iPhone users may not be able to access the social networking site.
Musk said the decision would take effect if Apple company implements its decision to integrate OpenAI into Apple’s operating system.
Elon said his decision is to protect privacy of X users using iPhones from Apple’s security breach.
On his X handle, Elon said, “If Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, then Apple devices will be banned at my companies.”
Describing Apple’s decision as “an unacceptable security violation”, Musk said “Apple has no clue what’s actually going on once they hand your data over to OpenAI. They’re selling you down the river.”

Musk added that Apple “visitors will have to check their Apple devices at the door, where they will be stored in a Faraday cage.”
He further criticized Apple for its inability to operate its own OpenAI. He added that if Apple cannot operate its own OpenAI, the company cannot protect users of Apple from privacy and security breaches that would arise from integrating another OpenAI.
“It’s patently absurd that Apple isn’t smart enough to make their own AI, yet is somehow capable of ensuring that OpenAI will protect your security and privacy!” Musk added.
