Court restrains IGP, APC from harassing, arresting PDP members, chieftains
The Edo State High Court has has restrained the Inspector General of Police, Commissioner of Police Edo State and Jarret Tenebe from “harassing, intimidating, arresting and detaining 68 members and chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Judge, Ighodalo Braimoh, gave the order pending the hearing of the substantive application for the enforcement of the applicant’s fundamental rights.
The Judge subsequently adjourned the hearing of the substantive application to September 26, 2024.
