The Disciplinary Committee of Confederation of African Football (CAF) has awarded Nigeria three points and three goals in the delisted African Cup of Nations qualifier match against Libya.

Libya has also been handed a $50,000 fine, which is to be paid within 60 days.

This ruling means the Super Eagles remain in top position in the the group.

The three-time African champions now have 10 points from four matches, four points clear of nearest rivals Benin.

Libya remain bottom of the group with one point.

A draw with Benin in Abidjan next month will qualify them to the 2025 AFCON to be hosted by Morocco in December 2025.
